The meaning of ASA is Advertising Standards Authority.
ASA is which handles of the advertisements of UK across all media. They use the advertising rules which are made by the Committees of Advertising Practice. They work on complains and checks that the ad is misleading , harmful or offensive.
Their purpose is to make the UK advertising more responsible, and make sure the ad is good for people, society and advertisers.
Their strategies to make every advertising good are make them understanding, support, impact, proactive, and awareness.
Their team are ASA Council which is responsible to deciding if the ads have violated the advertising codes, it is made up of two panels which are broadcast and non-broadcast and he other part of the team is Senior Management team which is responsible for setting the direction for the organization and overseeing the management of our core responsibilities in line with our objectives and standards of service.
